Mary Stanley is the creative energy behind a broad array of cutting edge contemporary art initiatives. As independent curator, private art consultant, and arts advocate she maintains relationships with museums, galleries, non-profit organizations and a select group of talented, established and emerging artists. Mary Stanley Studio, established in 2004, presents a variety of innovative contemporary art and photography exhibitions. Her Young Collectors Club ATL, created in 2006, provides educational programming and social networking opportunity for young professionals interested in learning about and collecting contemporary art. She serves on the board of Atlanta Celebrates Photography, the Lamar Dodd School of Art at UGA, the Museum of Contemporary Art of GA, IDEA CAPITAL and several other arts-related non-profits.
