Mary Tinti


Mary M. Tinti (Ph.D., Rutgers University, B.A. Providence College) is an art historian and curator specializing in modern and contemporary art, with a focus on public art. Since 2013, Tinti has been the Curator at the Fitchburg Art Museum in Fitchburg, MA. Prior to joining the staff at FAM, Tinti was a Koch Curatorial Fellow at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, the first-ever Public Art Fellow at the New England Foundation for the Arts, and the Deputy Artistic Director of WaterFire Providence. She is a past officer of Public Art Dialogue and also served as Journal Assistant and Artists’ Projects Liaison for the organization’s peer-reviewed publication of the same name.
