Scott Hoyle: Wave Pacific

Artist’s Statement:

Capturing the splendor and power of Mother Nature’s storm waves presents it’s own set of challenges. Climbing cliffs in torrential rains and strong winds to find the perfect composition, while simultaneously holding on for dear life, may not have been the wisest decision. However, I was able to achieve my goal of photographing the waves differently than I had ever seen them before, with the added bonus of returning to safety from a location that not many would imagine attempting to visit.
