Lucas Cowan joined the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway Conservancy in September 2014 and leads the Conservancy’s efforts to bring world-class temporary exhibitions of contemporary public art. Cowan was previously the Director of Public Art Programs with the Maryland State Arts Council, and the Senior Curator of Exhibits for the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture and Millennium Park in Chicago.
