Mark Morelli: Street Portraits: Chelsea, MA

Artist’s Statement:

Like the ever changing multidimensional community within the city itself, Street Portraits: Chelsea, MA is an excerpt from a larger series of photographs; all based on the city where I live. My work is an attempt to document the many different layers of this urban environment in a way that captures the people, the landscape, the architecture as well as the complexities of a city in transition. It is also an attempt to visually define my own personal sense of place.
