Nancy Meyer


Nancy Meyer is the co-curator of Kaz Oshiro: Chasing Ghosts at LACMA’s satellite gallery located at the Charles White Elementary school in MacArthur Park. Prior to that, she worked alongside Michael Govan and Christine Y. Kim on James Turrell: A Retrospective. Before joining the staff at LACMA, Nancy was a fellow at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, MN from 2006 – 2007 where she worked extensively on Frida Kahlo which traveled to SFMOMA and Philadelphia Museum of Art. Independent curatorial projects include Sarah Cain and Rebecca Morris at the Fellows for Contemporary Art (2009), ab.strac.tion at Michael Kohn gallery (2007), and Preserving America’s Cultural Heritage with Jeffrey Vallance (2006).

Nancy Meyer has a Master of Arts in Curatorial Practice from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Art with a minor in Dance from University of California, Berkeley.
