Artist’s Statement:

It’s all about passion. If you don’t have it you don’t have much. I need to be around people who are driven by it, around people that love their life. Having that, I am the happiest person… when I have the chance to photograph passion I’m the happiest photographer. I’m comfortable even when the lights go down when people show who they really are—and I do the same!

I’ve been carrying a camera with me everywhere I go since I was 11 years old, when I was 15 I started to publish in a monthly magazine and when I was 22 I was traveling around the world as the personal photographer to the President of the Republic of Slovenia
Taking photographs is the air I need to breathe to be able to wake up every morning.

The camera is my ticket to life.

Artist’s Bio:

Brooklyn, NY

I got my first PRAKTICA camera from my dad when I was 11 years old. Love at first sight ! Continued with School for Photography and soon after that started to work for photo agency in Slovenia, that was covering news also for Reuters and AP. Soon I’ve become personal photographer to President of Republic of Slovenia and Prime Minister, traveling around the world. Through years I felt I need to work more on my studio work, working for magazines, but last couple of years since 2009, when I moved to NYC, my love for real people and real moments is increasing again. I want to work more on Social Documentary work in future.
